ME IN A NUT-SHELL
Freelance event coordinator by day, Formula 1 fanatic by weekend, and full-time dog mum to Paxo.
Growing up in Africa, I learned the value of passion and perseverance early on. My creative journey actually started at just three years old with dance shows—a spark that eventually led me straight into the world of events.
A pivotal moment came in high school when a teacher encouraged me to attend GYLC in New York. It helped me break out of my shell and realise my true calling was far from a traditional desk job. That was the start of an incredible 8-year adventure.
As a solo traveler, I worked and explored across the globe, meeting amazing people from all walks of life. Each destination brought new challenges, but no matter how far I traveled, my roots always pulled me back home to Zimbabwe.
My time in the events industry has been a dynamic mix of thrilling wins and valuable lessons. Every project has sharpened my coordination skills and given me the confidence to take my next big leap.
The Next Chapter Since May 2025, I’ve been working as a freelance coordinator. Going independent allows me to bring my expertise to exciting new client projects while building my own creative ventures like Garden Giggles and SHAG Lifestyle.
I’m excited to keep building, creating, and seeing where my passions lead next!
